Former DC Pageant Winner Gets Silly

Jasmine Niernberger, a graduate of St. Andrew's senior class of 2007, freshman at Bucknell University, and winner of the Miss Teen DC 2006 pageant. The Miss District of Columbia USA/TEEN USA 206 pageant was held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel November 26, 2005. Shauntay Hinton, Miss USA 2002 served as hostess for the event. The delegates were lead into the ballroom by the reigning queens, Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2005, Danai Mattison and Miss District of Columbia USA 2005 Sarah Langford. At the conclusion of the evening, Jasmine Niernberger (who was the swimsuit and evening gown winner) was crowned Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2006. Niernberger competed in the 2006 Miss Teen USA competition in Palm Springs, California but did not make the Top 10. First-timer Niernberger, 17, said she enjoyed her experience and plans to return to Washington to "take the world by storm." Niernberger listed a few causes and organizations she would like to be a part of, but what about a future in pageantry? "My pageant coach wants me to do Miss USA, but I'm not sure," she said. "I play soccer and basketball . . . I'm not your typical pageant girl. I have to think that one over."

Anyway, this former beauty pageant winner has definitely been enjoying her time away from home at Bucknell. I can tell she's been absorbing a great deal of information-or maybe alcohol? Nonetheless, she's definitely picked up some new habits:

Although Jasmine may like hitting a two-story beer bong occasionally she is an active advocate for individuals with LD, serving as spokesperson for Reading for the Blind & Dyslexic and speaking about learning disabilities to audiences of over 300 people. Smart girls who party are the best.

Fitness Through the Nose!

I have noticed that the use of drugs in the DMV is steadily increasing. Every time I step out the door someone is trying to sell me some "green" or asking me if I like to "party". Well, I know one girl who loves to party and it's no secret. You can catch her every single Saturday shaking what her Momma gave her front and center stage at LOVE night club (1350 Okie Street NE). Not only does she like to party in the club but apparently she also likes to party at home...

It is none other than infamous DMV model, Sidney Lauren. They say it's sugar, but suga, I've seen sugar in lines on the kitchen table and that ain't it! 

Who Wore it Best: Sidney Lauren vs. Courtney

For our first edition of Who Wore it Best, model Sidney Lauren and OverAchiever promoter/assistant Courtney [Ayana Lovesherjob] have both been spotted wearing the same gold dress. Oh and yes, that is Courtney in the photo with Sidney. Cute shoes Sid! Don't worry OA, we have a post just for you and all 1,000 of your nameless promoters coming very soon. Courtney was first spotted wearing the dress at an event in March 08 at LOVE night club. Sidney Lauren was spotted wearing the simply gold number at the Trey Songz performance at FUR nightclub in July 08. Shoutout to DJ Goldenboy & the entire LGI family (!
